Pipe Dream® is designed for pipelines from 6 inches to 48 inches+, with the possibility of even larger diameters using optional tractor-lift or tractor-float attachments. It can handle any pipe material.

The system is 100 % man-portable, weighing about 40 lbs, so it can be carried into tight easements or remote areas where larger systems can’t reach.

It supports single-pass video with live video streaming and recordings (optimized up to 4K). Pipe Dream® Inspection Suite which includes 360° pan-tilt-zoom control in post-inspection for defect identification. Positioning is handled via odometry to achieve inch-level accuracy.

The system is cloud-based, with built-in LTE/5G connectivity for easy data upload from field sites. Inspection data (video, odometry, pipeline headers) can be exported, integrated via API, or processed by EdgeAI (coding). Users can choose to code data themselves (PACP/MACP), have EdgeAI code it for them, or choose “no coding” depending on project needs.

To operate, you need a laptop with Windows 10/11, ~16 GB RAM (or more), an NVIDIA GPU (RTX 3060 or better), or alternative graphics support.

Yes — in addition to pipelines, Pipe Dream® supports Level-2 manhole inspections (and Level-1 for certain modules). It is capable of manhole assessment certification program (MACP) coding.
